Die Martin-Opitz-Bibliothek in Herne führt die Bestände ADMA 13004 bis ADMA 13071 „Archiv Adolf Eichler‟ mit einer Laufzeit von 1915 bis 1970.
Die Bestände bestehen aus 67 Einheiten unterteilt in 326 Fasziklen. Weitere Bestände sind TK 0800 und TK 0918. Die mit „Archiv Adolf Eichler‟ bezeichnete Sammlung enthält auch für die Familienforschung interessante Dokumente.
Im Bestand ADMA 13001, Fasc. 6 finden sich unter dem Titel „Einbürgerungliste Russlanddeutsche 1934‟ undatierte Listen von sich damals in den Kreisen Ostpreußens aufhaltenden Volksdeutschen, die während oder nach dem Weltkrieg aus Rußland oder Russisch-Polen nach Ostpreußen migriert sind. Die Listen sind sowohl vom Umfang als auch ihrem Informationsgehalt her von unterschiedlicher Qualität. Einige sind maschinengeschrieben, der überwiegende Teil handgeschrieben. Die Listen wurden um das Jahr 1930 erstellt, z. T. bis 1934 (1936) fortgeführt, und enthalten Angaben zum Wohn- und Aufenhaltsort, zum Status sowie der Staatsbürgerschaft und bei Wegzug auch oft Hinweise zum neuen Wohnort.
Die Listen wurden nach und nach von Frau Christa Greiff als Datentabellen erfasst und sind jetzt hier als durchsuchbare Datensätze bereitgestellt.
